recently traded 9550 walker for 9650 sts. Book says non adjustable precleaner.Why and is there a better one available? Have heard they will fill up with stems. The walker combine had adjustable one
Really doubt they do anything for you in anything but corn. We pulled ours in our 9870's to help with the sample and tailings load in dry canola and flax. In cereals, beans, and pulses it probably makes no difference.
I dont understand why it is designed with a fixed position that is wide enough to allow soybean stems to plug it up and damage conveyor augers and cleaning fan. This is what I have heard anyway. The walker machine was open in corn and closed for beans, small grain
