Can some one help please. Two nights ago we came into unload in our 9650 sts (2003 model). The auger would not swing out and will not pull into gear. The hydruli pump loades up and sounded like it was trying to swing it but it wouldnt move. We had our local JD mechanics out all yesterday. We replace the armrest board which didnt fix the problem. There are no codes coming up. Our JD mechanic doesn't really know what to try next. Any body got any ideas??

It sounds like a valve stack problem to me. Did they check if the proper solenoids are energizing? When the pump loads up are any of the hoses pressurizing? Why did they replace the armrest board? The header control board and left hand control board are also used in auger swing out and it seems like it would make more sense that one of these would fail according to the wiring diagram, especially if the pump is loading.

Could be the swing cylinder itself,I know of a dealership that removed the greaseable turret and installed the new style turret with the plastic strips thinking it was binding, turned out the swing cylinder came apart inside. If the pump is loading the engine see if your getting flow or pressure to the swing cylinder, crack a line and see what happens.
