Have you run a HUR yet? It's not that bad once you get used to it. No mechanical way to slow it down that I'm aware of. Best option is to keep the auger covers in the tank on their lowest setting.
9660 hur auger
I just traded 9660w for '09' 9670sts with the high unloading auger option. I really don't want the HUR but for resale reasons i ordered it. Is there a simple way to slow the auger down ? To me it's hard to finish loading a graincart.

Check with you dealer, guys around here have put different sprokets to slow it down so they can unload edible bean on the go with minimal damage to the beans. Not sure if is something the are making or if deere offers it. Sounds like it can be done.
