The 9660 walker would be a good machine for you as its as close as you will get to 9600. I worked for a cutter out of OK how had 2 brand new and the were a good machine, we had more issues with the fronts than the machine.
The WTS has a few differences from a standard 9660, most notably the extra drum on top of the walkers to aid walker loss. Alot of parts on the WTS are specific to it. It's a very european machine. Has more horsepower too.
we had a 9600 then traded it on a 9660 walker both were excellent machines, 60 series cab and features were nice, both never had any real issues, just traded the 9660 on a t670 hope it is as good.
we really like our 9660 but we had a pretty major break down and are really behind but usually it is a great machine, the 9760sts we bought today is nicer to run that's for sure
