the only advice i can give you is just mess around with everything till you get it right, the book is just to set you in the right direction, turn up your fan, or close the sieve a little, or the concave, i dont think anyone sets there combines the exact same, depends on conditions you have to just play around for a while

I did mess around with it last year but it sure took alot of time. I was just wondering if anyone had any squick suggestions as a starting point. As, the book isn't even close when it comes to canola

Looking to see where everyone sets their 9760's for canola. Had trouble last year with lots of chaff. Have purchased Howard Concaves they claim they help.

I usually pretty much set it to the book except run the fan a little faster and have not had a problem. I use the small wire concaves

I have the books guide generally a good starting point, but I ALWAYS run fan faster than they say,you have to keep material LIVE over sieves to do a good job!
