I just got my 9760 today, the only thing that bothers me is that the hydro handle rubber grip is kind of torn and worn and looks and feels bad. I looked all through the jdparts and I cannot find anything but the whole handle... $1095.00

Does anyone know if they have a replacement part for this thing?
Thanks

We have the same problem on our 9750. I have yet to find something besides glue or a new hydro handle. But i hope there is a better solution.

Its rather poor that you cannot just get the Rubber grip, thats what I would call a wareing part, $1095 is rather steep, that must be a complete handle with all the switches etc fitted, just the platic case with the rubber my be about $100 that would not be such a problem, maybe worth looking up a breakers yard and see if they can do one a better price.

John Deere has had this problem since the first 50 series came out. I don't know why they didn't do something different. I think they should have just done away with the rubber grip and made the whole handle plastic. The rubber just gets sticky and gross anyways.
