whats a good replacement knife for my straw chopper. I want the straw chopped fine

I meant the rotating knives

I was at a farm show and there was a manufacture that was saying his straight knife design does a better job than the factory knifes

How do you guys decide when to replace the rotating hammers ? Got the combines out today and looking at the hammers and I think there is still some life in them,we flipped the stationary knives last year and there is currently 1050 sep hours on the combines. We are chopping wheat and canola

we replace the hammers when the hardend coating is gone. replace the stationary knives when they are dull
