I am wondering when i should replace the elephant ears on my 9860. She has 900 sep hours. The bolt head on the end closest to the rotor has just started to wear... I've got the feeder house off as i turned the top sprockets and the feed acelerator plates and wondering if i should do the elephant ears now as well while it's off...

Is elephant ears a technical term? Judging by the number of replies I don't think most people have clue what your talking about.

we let them go until the trailing edge, near the concave area is flush with the mount.

but if you have the feed acc apart, it sure would make it easier
