we run 3 9860 premiuns here in manitoba andwe ran those speeds with 36feet if you can not go to 36 what is the point. call a frien over with a 9650 and gave him a 30% power chip he kept up with us using a 30 foot header.but he was always maxing his motor
We run a 9660 now and are looking for a little more capacity. Our dealer thinks a 9860 is the ticket. I don"t want to go any larger than the 30 ft straight we have now do to transporting issues. Can I keep a 9860 full enough with 30 feet? Other question is, we seem to be able to load our sieves to their limits now, so how can the larger machine with the same separating area do too much more? We run 3.5 to 4 in 120 bu oats, 4 to 5 in 40 bu canola, 25 ft swaths, 4 to 5 in 50 bu wheat. Do these numbers sound reasonable or am I doing something wrong in my settings? It makes me wonder just how much more the 98 will do. Thanks for your opinions.
