My uncle traded in 2 9610's for one of these guys

What class are they in and what year did they make these..

He's been cutting wheat with it and really likes it.

got a 35ft head and a 12 row corn head.

Just curious to any info he might need to know.

Thanks

Easy now guys....I just didn't have a clue to what he bought..

I know he should have just bought a class 6 combine cause thats about all we need in this area...and he should have just chipped the d**n thing..

I just wanted an idea on how the numbers worked and what year...

he's not saying much cause he's always bragged about there product and how rotors couldn't measure up..

so instead of asking him i have to ask u guys.

thanks for the info...lets not get this out of hand.

what year did they start with the bullet rotor

also is STS just a addon? like if i ordered a 9860 new back in the day would that be the next step up?

just curious several guys are getting newer deere combines but it doesn't say that on the side

Bullet rotor became an option sometime in '05, standard equipment in '06. Also standard 9860 was 375 hp and Premium is 408 hp.

I don't think bullet rotor was ever an order option, just a running change, you probably saw some early ones, and I think your mixing up peak power of a 9860 and the base power of the premium which I believe was 420.
Just my memory swag in both cases, if you can prove me wrong that's fine.
