Just picked up new to me 9870. First combine I've owned. Always had custom cutters do the work. Was hoping to get suggestions on setting up for barley (130 bushel). Concave covers, speeds, settings and so on. Thanks.

a good starting point would set it to the book settings & fine tune it to get the best sample & the least amount of grain loss . no 2 crops are the same , happy harvesting !

We run small wire concaves. No covers. Settings - started with the pre-sets and adjusted from there. The notebook is in the combine through the blizzard....sorry, but I'm not venturing out!
