wondering if anyone could help me out with the settings on a 9870 in wheat with a large wire concave

I wouldn't say never. There is lots of wheat cut with large wire concaves. You probably want to run at least one small wire in it however.

We do all our wheat will the round bar concave with interrupters...works awesome.
You get faster separation and therefore more capacity with less rotor loss.

They are like the blanking strips but they are a band of bars that fit between the roundbars.

What Alex said, basically a piece of flat bar that sticks up slightly between the round bars.
Can help with tough beans but be careful with damage, not needed in corn.
