2009 9870 20.8x38 duals, breaking wheel bolts, one a year last 3 years, one yesterday first 50 acres of 2014. Is this common, what is the solution? Suggested to replace all of them. Stud shows old break half way through. No grain bin extension, no hired men driving.

this was also happening on my 9660. after the third one broke, noticed the inside tire was way low on air pressure so all the weight was on the outside dual.

Pressures are all correct, never been low. Only a 615 PU header.

It's very common on dual sts combines. Had the near dual come off once. Now we check them every year and usually replace a few. Lots of guys around here have this. It's the physics of turning and how they fight each other in the turn. Make sure you torque them down the way it is recommended (150ft lbs + 90 degrees or something). We had a tire guy just rattle them on once and it was really bad after that. Once we torqued them correctly it got a lot better.
