Ya we need rain bad. Some fields have had less than a half inch in the last five weeks. I can't believe how good they still look considering. An inch would be nice. Maybe I need to start a thread named" sick of all the sun!"
Ya they are sunflowers. Now they look like sunflowers you would see picture of with the yellow flowers around the sunflower head. That pic is probably a month ago.
I have never been able to make a yield estimate on beans. The size of the beans can vary so much it makes it pretty well impossible. If we get a rain soon they will do forty easy enough, if not likely mid thirties.
The corn in the fourth picture from the bottom is a pioneer research plot and the corn on the left is a 70-72 bt corn that tasseled one day earlier than 7213. Corn on the right is 73 day. It sure is early, hope it yields.
