I noticed the accellerator rolls were not perfectly centered between each other when I changed the lugs. They were just close enough to pass one another without hitting. I have since adjusted them. Would that have reduced the performance as far as pulling material out of the cylinder and even flow on to the shoe?? Previous owner had trouble with material plugging return elevator. Wonder if this had something to do with it?

You may find out you are correct about the rolls, I have my doubts.
Make sure that the distribution auger has not lost any of it's three paddles.
