Planing on doing some fall ripping with the ST310 panther and I'm thinking I may need some weights added to it. The tractor has 24.5x32 radials and none of them are ballasted. I'm going to be pulling a 9 shank inline unverferth at about 18"-22" deep and I'm sure in some of the hills I'll experience some slippage. If I were to use external weights where is the best place to put them and how much?

I pulled a buddy of mine's 9 shank blue jet and it pulled it fine on flat ground and about 75% of the hills but It seemed to be slipping a little much in some places. I have all the tires at about 18psi. Just seems like a little more weight might be in order.

I would like too have some nice soft ground like that! I pull five shanks with a 300hp Versatile inner tires full of fluid runnin 12 and 10 psi. All flat ground the max depth I can pull is around 16". I do have the 8" ultra wing tips tho I think they do a much better job of fracturing the ground. The guys around here that pull 9 - 12 shanks use 450hp+ and most of them use straight tips so they can pull them.
