Hi Everyone, I've met a few of you at the Ag shows this winter (Tri-State Grain Growers, Direct Seed, and Spokane Ag Show). For everyone else thanks for the chance to let you know a little about Agcopter. Agcopter's drones carry a sensor that detects weeds in fallow and creates a centimeter level accurate map. We load that map into growers existing GPS spray controllers, which turns on only the sections or nozzles where the weeds are, allowing their existing sprayer to be a spot sprayer, often saving over 80% in chemical costs. Nice, I have kind of done this with a winged drone. It did not have corrections. Neither did my sprayer. Figured it would miss to many weeds with "stacked tolerance" issues. Cool to see it working for you. That hot dry summer time this can certainly be a huge savings in chemical cost.

That's awesome Ian! Cool that you were thinking this way. Our sensor has been developed by a family of wheat farmers in Australia and they developed it strictly for this purpose so it can really operate at a commercially efficient level, mapping about 500acres an hour when in flight.
