I was praying that case redesigned the feeder house-rotor transition cone for the 20 series machines. If you look close at the last picture Ryan posted, the feeder chain on the left side of the machine is jumped. We had an '04 8010, traded it for an '06 8010 that we still have today. Have done all the updates and mods that case said would fix the feeder chain jumping problem, but I'm not optimistic for the '08 harvest. Cannot count the number of times our chain has jumped on either machine. Case needs to figure out a way to lower the rotor or raise the feeder house if they ever want to solve this.

Actually it could be the field tracker is tipped to the side alittle bit making it look like the feeder chain is off.

I run an 07 8010 with a rock trap and haven't had problems with the feeder chain jumping.......well, not yet. If we run the apron chain too tight it makes alot of noise.
