Looking at the new 88 series combines but not wild about the 2020 headers, don't need a draper for limited soybean acres.

We have the corn and sb heads for the Axial Flow combine, dealers give different uncertain answers on the feederface adapter kit. Of course, everybody wants to sell us new heads and adapter kits for our RotaDisc head. Seems like it would cost less to adapt the combine to the heads that we already own.

Has anybody bought the kit to adapt the feederface back to fit the old 23/2588 style?

Lots of different opinions based on third party information, need some good information.

We almost did and then chose not to. You will need to change the feeder face as well as reconfigure the electric and hydraulic connections. Seems to me it was going to cost over $8000 Cdn. Also you need to change the drive shaft ends because the new 88's have 540PTO type drive shaft, not hex shaft like the old ones.

were changing our 2062 draper to go on a 6088.... and we traded our 1083 head for a 3408.....will the 3408 already have the right kinda splindle for the 6088 ?

the 3408 will go right on with the drive shafts not sure what a splindle is just kidden
