Anyone in the US combining or is it just raining on me? I think its rained almost every day for the last 2 weeks.
Been able to go 5 hours on beans this year! Still haven't got to try out the new A 86!

Waiting on the weather also. We had about 2 inches of rain combined over the last couple weeks and 10 inches of snow last Friday. I rumbled almost all the beans out (300 acres). I got a sample of corn last Sunday off the end rows with the combine that tested 16.7. It was very muddy. I'm hoping to start again next monday. It rained all afternoon here. This crop has the potential to be our best if we can get it out. I have lots of corn in the Mid 20's for moisture and many guys are testing 30 yet.

Here in Eastern Iowa some people still chopping corn. Did beans for about 4hours tuesday, corn is WET,28-34 %. Seems like everyone just sitting around waiting for some dry weather. Sure doesn't feel like global warming here. Only got to 90 degrees 2 days all summer. Lots of lp geeting burned this fall.

Been in combine 5 days in the last month here in west TN. Got all grp 3 beans and corn out. Still got grp 4 and 5 to get out and cotton. Beans and cotton are both rotting in the field. Had record yields before rain started. When it is dry, the lines at the graineries are 3-4 hrs long

Everyone here in Texas has been bllowing and going through the corn for about a week now, some are still waiting on some wetter corn around 22-25 to get down before they start. We are almost done and fixing to get into the milo. There sure is alot of corn still standing around though.
We have been pretty humid and overcast for the last week or so, it's goin to be a long harvest this year.

Here in central missouri the sun hasn't shown since monday the 12th 7inches of rain and the crops were just starting to get mature. Very little has been put in the bin here. Late planting and alot of moisture, what was cut yielded good for here corn 150-165 beans 50-60.

Weather here (central Alberta) has been bad for 2 weeks, no big amounts of moisture but just enough to stop everything and quite cold. Started last Sunday with the stripper headers on wheat testing 22% and did about 500 acres this week. Tuesday it snowed. Then today we did about 60 acres and now it rained just a bit so we are shut down again. No global warming here either.

I knocked out about 20 acres of corn this afternoon. It was testing about 17%. Fields are plenty muddy. My neighbor tried beans. They had 14.7%. Sun came out late today and suppose to have 2 days of it before the next system moves in. Hope I can find more corn under 17%.

Our corn is still over 32%(as high as our tester goes) here in NE WI and our beans are still green and wet. Has been raining all week on and off. We will need some warmer weather to get these beans dried down. I'm bettting we will have snow up to our a$$ before all our crops are off.....this sucks.

We finally finished beans last week. Seemed like it wouldn't get fit until 5 or 6 at night because the sun wouldn't come out and the mornings were real wet, then it would get tough early. Then it would rain enough to keep you out of the fields for a couple days. Corn is anywhere from 23% to 28% and some is down, but we have not started yet. Finally got a couple good drying days this week and guys were running beans from 10am until midnight since there was a descent wind, but 90% chance of rain again tonight and tomorrow.

Did 20 acres of CPS wheat today with the Shelbourne stripper. It went thru the combine great and even made some dust out the back or maybe that was steam. It smelled like porridge and was so wet I couldn't test it. I thru it in the dryer and the ignitor wouldn't work so what else can go wrong this year?

When I finished canola yesterday, I looked under the combine and saw something dripping.

It wasn't oil.

It wasn't diesel.

It wasn't anti-freeze.

It was water. The grain pan was full of watery gunk from the straw going thru the machine... strangely, canola isn't too wet, only 12%. Swaths smelled rotten, lots of grey dust, could hardly breathe when you open the cab door.
