im told to put 2small wire concaves in for dekalb milo, to knock the black hulls off..dont wnt to switch back and forth for corn !would the coverplates do the same thing??
Planning on trying it this year. We are trying to keep excess trash off the sieve instead of for hard threshing grain. We don't want to have to switch things around all the time. Good luck and hope it works for you.
I use cover plates on large wire concaves for Milo, but am also set up with gordon bars and air jet chaffer. Does an excellent job, I'd say give it a try.
