Anyone went from greenstar to Agleader?

Currently a Greenstar guidance and application based farm with a multi colored fleet. Looking hard at switching to Ag Leader because mother deere problems. The Deere green star has been great overall and our dealer support has been as good as can be. Transferring data sucks. Had a 2600 and a brown box displays die last year. Can’t get new ones for a year. Can’t transfer activations, Going to subscription based, ect, ect. My dealer is attempting to find some work arounds. Ag Leader is catching my eye and the dealer support is really good from what I hear. Anyone else done this and regretted it?

As with anything these days, to me, SERVICE AND SUPPORT are extremely important when it comes to technology. Well anything really but since we're talking technology no sense in going down any other rabbit holes. I would talk to all of my neighbors and all of the precision dealers and see what they all have to say. If you're going from greenstar to Ag Leader let them make an offer on a complete farm solution including data transfer and mapping software. That being said Deere has come a long ways with their Ops Center mapping software and it works for me. Finally! Not saying it's the end all to end all. We have a good dealer and support from Deere and won't be switching but when we committed to Deere we made them commit to us as well. They have a pretty good parts supply even during the shortages which is still going on for their displays. Luckily mine are still working fine. These are issues that should be brought up with whichever brand you go with. And I would stress talk to folks that are currently running what brand you want to go with and if possible go operate one of their units and see if you like or at least get a demo for a while on your farm. Sorry to ramble and hope this helps. Good luck.
