Does anyone have a “fix” for the auger bed covers? I’m getting real tired of scraping my knuckles taking them off one by one every time it rains or when I clean up the machine for storage. And the very end one I can’t even get too to take off. Sure would be nice if you could easily and quickly remove them. Anyone have a solution?

I dont know that this would be a "fix", but if you still use the stock thumb screws, you can smash the end of a small piece of tubing to fit over the screw head. The far left screws are still a bear, but the tube will extend the screw so to speak so you can get a pliers on it. I have'nt gotten around to it yet, but if you have an old junk 1/4" or 3/8" drive socket around, you can weld it to the tubing and use a universal to get to those really difficult ones. I only have 2 lift cylinders and it's still a bear to get those screws turned.
