I'm looking at putting on a AWS wind bar on my 635F John deere head. Does anyone know how much they cost? If it is to much I probably buy a 2-3 year old 635 for 35K with wind bar and be done with it! But maybe its worth adding, so does anyone know what the price is for one? I would most likely install it myself.

Last time I checked it was much cheaper to buy a used header with one already on it. It has been a few years since the last time I had a price for one but I seem to recall it was over $15k for one on a 36' Macdon.

If I remember correct my cutter said 13,000 for a 40' but he is also a dealer.

I can get ya his number, he is located in rutland nd, judging by your lifters he might not be too far away

Wheatwhacker is right. you are better off buying a used header with one already on, if you are concerned about price...then you also save the time that it would take to install. I am passively on the lookout for one with it already on vs putting one on my header. I'm not sure if aws also has a "air reel" but seeing you don't have a draper I wouldn't be focused on it being strictly a bar. with the "air reel" you get less shatter loss vs a bar...not sure how much it amounts to either though.

Keep an eye out on auction time or any auction service for that matter. I noticed a couple went for under 2k I believe last summer at a rb auction. Just the air bar itself.

mounting brackets, gearbox, duct work, drop tubes etc? or literally just the air bar?

We bought a new 45' single fan for our CF 880 New holland last fall for $13,400.00 CDN FOB the Factory in Mitchell , Ont.
We installed it in a decent day with 2 1/2 people .

They had a few that day and looks like some others, just search aws on their site. I see this one was consigned by a dealer so may be worth a few phone calls to see whats laying around.
