How this works: This will eventually be a compiled list of all the add-on parts we can find for the axial-flow combines. Sieves, Rotors, hopper extensions, etc. I'm starting with a base list. If you think of something not in this list, post it in this thread. I'll copy/paste that stuff into this compiled list. Thanks, Lance

Some where I saw a device to slow the grain flow from the unloading auger so it fell in a full stream and then shut off completely to prevent dribble. it would fit on combines or grain carts and elevator downspouts. does anyone know where I can find information. My searches all seem to lead to the same place, nowhere.
TIA

Lance, Stewart Steel makes a sleeve that goes over the unloading auger right behind where it sets in the saddle. This keeps the tube from buckling if you hit a bump like an irrigation pivot track with grain in the auger. I think it is called an Unloading Tube Sleeve. Very good investment!

I like the feeder house roller package that bolts in and keeps the feeder chain off the rails when returning to the bottom. the feeder chain lasts longer doesn't need to be adjusted as often and is alot quieter than the stock setup. It was designed by a farmer and is sold through Case-IH dealers. Don't know why they don't make it standard equipment from the factory.

Hey Lance don't know if anyone would want these items but if you want a yield and moisture monitor and yield mapping and also if you want a tailings monitor for the 14 and 16 series this web site offers them. Altough it is not on their web site they also offer a Hydro Stick that you can put in the 16xx series and it will work like the 21xx or 23xx series

Just got the word Case-IH has finally listened and has released a bolt on for all Axial Flows to latch headers to the feeder with a single lever. Packages available for machines with or without the field tracker face plate.
Requires a package for each header as well, corn, flex or rigid

That spring loaded flap on the end of the unloading auger tube is called a grain saver. Shoup (www.shoupparts.com ) sells them out of kankakee, IL I have one on my old combine. Price is around $53.00, give or take.

If you have an Axial Flow combine with the Hydraulic reverser on the feeder then you will want to know about this. Case-IH has an accumulator package to go in the hydraulic circuit with the small hyd cylinder on the reverser. The accumulator prevents the pressure spike in the system and failing the welds the hydraulic cylinder and leaking. The kit is about a third of the price of a new hyd cylinder for the reverser so you will want to get your hands on one.
This accumulator is standard equipment on the 2500 series combines.
