Do all Gleaner combines now feature the transverse rotor? Does Gleaner still offer an axial rotor machine? Was the C62 the last conventional model?

All transverse now. The axial rotor machines were just Masseys with a different paint/decal scheme. I'm surprised manufacturers give their customers so little credit, who do they think they are fooling?

Some people don't have dealers, that was before Agco opened up the dealers so they could sell everything as far as parts.

Martin, probably all Gleaner dealers are Massey dealers. Not many in the USA sell Massey Ferguson combines alongside Gleaners and very few Gleaner dealers sold axial Gleaners. There are a couple large dealers in the Midwest with more than one store that sell MF axial combines in the MF colors and Gleaner transverse from their stores. In Canada, there a some dealers that sell both MF and Gleaner, buy I've never seen axial Gleaners on their sites. I don't think there are many Gleaner dealers that sold axial Gleaners although I have seen a few on machinery sites. Probably most have just gone with the transverse rotors in the last few years unless they were already selling red Massey Ferguson combines also .
