Which beater bar works best? I only have experience with the smooth style but the local dealer has a set with some staggered claws on them. I am tempted to go with the claw style but not sure if the crop will wrap around them since they have more grip.

What are you combining? We changed over to groved ones and it has worked great for cereals flax and beans but I wonder if it causes problems in canola by making it into dust...there is no wrapping problems in my country in normal to dry conditions.
