We need to replace the rubber conditioning rolls on our John Deere 935 Moco. Can I retrofit it with tri lobes or steel rolls? Any other input? Just upgrade the machine? We cut mainly alfalfa and alfalfa grass mix as dry hay.
If there are any rocks you deal with or sandy soil(abrasive), I'd go with the steel. I run double conditioner rolls-steel on my Challenger SP185 and does an excellent job/holds up well in rockier ground
