I have an issue, my old sprayer has seen better days, but I have to make do, a lease block I have taken on is undulating to slightly hilly, it's rough from having cattle on it, I need some jockey wheels for my boom, I only spray at 8km (5 mile) and hour, I was thinking about getting some bmx forks that have suspension and mounting them on, not sure they be tough enough?

What have others done...cheap lol!!

We used to have that arrangement on our computer spray . Secret was to have most of the weight off the wheels by the cable suspension otherwise the boom would kill the BMX wheels (plastic five spoke) also skid units with forward tension on the booms works. Mini wheels ? I have Holden wheels on my old auspray boom.

X2 our croplands has leaf springs on a pin that swings sideways about 3m from each end on a 36 m boom works well. We have a fair few work over contour banks in certain paddocks and works well with auto height.
