Bourgault tillage tool 1/2 inch tip and 3/4 inch vertical tip.

Would like to put them on our 3320 qda bourgault so we could seed a little faster currently running 3/4 inch regular tip with v packer.
Do you think the half inch would be to narrow for proper seed placement, or would it end up on the sides of the trench?
Would the vertical 3/4 inch tip throw less dirt than what we have now?
