I see a lot of combines and sprayers at the RB auction in Saskatoon tomorrow. Looks like they might be part of the Broadacre farms bankruptcy. Wondering if anyone has walked by and looked at them.

Decent shape, completely destroyed, etc.

It is a lot of combines to sell in a soft market. Not sure if it is going to drive the price down or attract a whole lot of new buyers because there are so many to choose from.

I think I will go to the sale tomorrow, not as buyer but interested to see the general "mood". Things should be on the cheaper side but us farmers always amaze when it comes to auctions.

At the spring sale, broadacre tractos and seeders were in better shape than I expected. Not perfect by any means but not destroyed.

I was just looking to use the prices as a benchmark. But without knowing the condition it is hard to know what to base the selling price on. Some times prices are low for a reason.

I know when I am buying online, I watch the first prices from the crowd on the ground to get an idea of the condition. If its good condition the ground guys will bid like normal. If it is very rough or something is wrong the guys on the ground don't bid and some guy on the internet gets stung with it.

From what I seen, never looked hard, looked like what you'd expect. Few rock dents on concaves and rotors on some. Some knives missing from knife bars in chopper. Few dings and dents behind chopper and on sieves. But we're some good ones there. Some bad as well. Good sale to be looking before hand to know which ones are the ones to stay away from. Should be an interesting sale.

So the combines went for a high of 235 to a low of 190k.. Not a bad price for the buyer I must say, but then crop conditions don't look the best

Hope the the dealers take a good look at their valves once again.. Lots of the same machines on the lots for 300k

lexions are cheap, parts availability and dealer support towards used i'd guess.
they are the better combine vs the green.
a properly set up 480r can run with a s680 (when straw is dry) if it needs more power it might power out i'd be scared.

Seems about right

I dunno, the 2011 sold pretty decent. Rest were pretty high houred
If you try and match size/year/hours I see nothing out of line between units.
The Deere's tended to be newer and less hours, oh my, look at that, they sold higher!
Combine price wise Deere also brought up the ass of the pack don't forget.
