If you mean blades in chopper it's self yes. Pull the stationery blades down.

Down in the lower position but not remove from combine? Or down as in remove them from the combine?

Thanks, I've been leaving them in and down. Was wondering what it would hurt to leave them up other than wear out the knifes faster? And yean I always slow the chopper.

You can leave them up but you are right they will wear faster and probably break off.

If you have a corn header selected in the newest firmware of the pro 700, it gives you warnings till you disengage the stationary knives into the down position.
