I took a tour round the Gleaner plant in 84, it was very interesting, Mind you the JD tractor plant I visited in 83 was something else, you could eat your dinner of the floor in that place, if you can go, its worth it. Just send them an email through there web site, Im sure they will help.

I have toured the plant 3 times in the last 7 years. The plant personnal were more than excited to give tours of the plant when I went through. It was a very good tour with the Gleaner portion coming last. Call 620-327-6300 which is direct to the Hesston plant, this should be the right number, if not, try 770-813-9200 in Duluth and someone should be able to hook you up. I did not get free lunch, but lots of pens, keyrings and notepads. Good luck.

If you need to stay overnight while there, there is a nice Americinn on east side of town.

I would suggest to contact your local Gleaner dealer and they can arrange a plant tour. New combine owners can ask the dealer to get personal VIP tour and drive out their combine from the assembly line. This VIP tours are personal, with dealer personel, special tour guides- at the end the customer leaves with several stuff in his bag.
