Looking for a SeedMaster or SeedHawk and wondering if a guy buys a 80 foot or 70 foot can you simply remove the wings to make it a smaller drill? Reason being having a hard time finding a 50 to 60 foot and bigger drills are selling cheaper than the size I'm after.

Yep. No problem at all. Might have to turn down the wing down pressure but thats no big deal and probably isn't necessary. As a bonus you will have lots of spare parts.

If it has sectional control I’m not sure what you would have to change on hydraulic bloc on drill , tank no problem.

physically its very easy todo, as stated you would need to match the wing pressure to the new size. You would want to redo the entire air system otherwise you'd be left with a 6 manifold system vs a factory 60-66ft would be 8 manifold.

Ya probably not going this route. Had a look at the drill we were considering and its in to rough of shape. Ripped apart in to many places.
