Interested in what farmers feel is covered in canola seed warranty. Does it cover only the fact it will come out of the ground? Yield? Green seed? lodging? Disease resistance? Nothing at all?

What do you agree to when you sign the service agreement?

Is it on the web in plain language - can it even be found? Or can you just push the salesman till they break and comp you free bags for any reason you can dream of?

Is it fair that some farmers get free bags while others don't?

Two years ago had a section of dekalb RR canola seeded into real heavey gumbo land had 2 inches of rain it crusted over and wouldn't come thru. Crop insurance wrote it off and we reseeded it to the same thing. We were surprised when dekalb paid for half of the seed to reseed it. We never even asked them to as it had nothing to do with their seed, but we sure took them up on the offer.
