Farming in South Carolina. Bought a used 2388 with RWA last year. Hydro was weak, but made it through the corn & bean seasons. Rebuilt the Foot-N-Inch valve last winter and Case mechanic checked pressure at motor - 6700 (oil cold). Headed to the field last week and once the oil heated up the hydro became very weak on the road. In third gear, its very slow to start. In 2nd with engine at 1000 to 1200 rpm, will not move forward or backward with oil hot. Works fine when oil is cold. Capped FNI valve line at motor to check hydro pump and motor. No change. I checked with Case, reman pump and motor $6,800. Also checked with Herr Hydros in KS, around $4400 to rebuild + $400 to check each RWA motor (their requirement for warranty). Anyone had success with remans from local shops and can recommend shops for rebuild? Thanks...
