Straight cutting wheat and the reels change from slow to fast and vise versa while the ground speed stays the same. this is effecting my head site auto height control because it starts to bounce. Any ideas?

Does it do it in manual reel speed mode or just auto? Do you have gps? If you have gps check and change the speed source in toolbox from gps. Then drive your combine and see if your ground speed is fluctuating on the display. The reel speed in auto uses the ground speed sensor in the transmission regardless of what you use for a signal in the display.

It seems to do it in Manual as well as Auto. It does have GPS but I'm not sure if the speed fluctuates.

Reel speed valves have been quite problematic in the past. I'd be curious to see if your pickup belts do the same thing.
