I needed to replace my Hyd motor on my fan. Went to case dealership I gave them a grand they gave me a new Hyd motor... Installed I checked it out I can only get 4100 rpm totally rapped out. With my Hyd flow turned up all the way. My old one I was allways having the over speed alarm go off on me I think at 5500 rpm. Called parts guy he is going to make sure that he did not screw up.... The only other thing which I can not get around my head is I did have the manifold down I can't imagine how that would limit the rpm. I am 99% sure that my tractor Hyd are ok. Also wonder if the did have different fan rpm and just changed shiv size to get proper range?

Manifold did not make much difference...the new one I put on was the one the new part number subed up too..... So wheat on a litt 400 mile road trip got a seal kit for my old one put it all back together in the dark got to go . I did find a new old style one in Kansas so I have that coming for a back up . Not sure if the new style takes a little more flow or pressure or something not quite right with it ...

Check your belts, if they are worn a little you loss some rpm, or tighten them up. My belts are worn and need replaced but only have few days left so trying to milk em. When I first turn on in morning only have 4900 or so let it warm up and not to long am up to 5300. Wouldn't surprise me if new motor was bad, parts anymore are a crap shoot. Much as this stuff costs ought to put itself on and work perfectly..
