Anyone driving a Case IH stx375 quadtrac?
What are pro's and con,s?
What are big things to look for when I check-out the tractor?
Hour many hours do you get on average out of the tracks? This one is from a farm, not a construction side.

 

[WHY NOT]

We bought a 385 quad last year and really like it. Things to check out on the tracks are to look at the lugs on the inside and make sure they are not tearing off. I would defiantly put clear caps on the idlers and bogies to be able to see the oil level. I have heard as long as you don't the oil leak out of the hubs you won't have much more problems than with a wheeled machine. Where we bought ours they had one in there with the original tracks and 4500 hrs and it was getting some stuff rebuilt on it.
We really like ours if you have a lot of ditches it is great being able to go right over them with out getting bounced out of the cab and I could go right threw some wet spots I would of gotten stuck with our old 4wd tractor and it would only leave cleat marks.
