I’m hoping someone can tell me where to find more complete electrical schematics for a 1999 CAT Lexion 480 (SN 56600521). I’ve been having intermittent problems with the header drive and unloading auger staying on after hitting the start buttons. I believe it is related to the operator seat safety switch and associated circuitry. I have the Claas Lexion 480-405 Technical Systems – Electric System manual, but the version I have (297 629.4) does not show the seat safety switch circuitry which includes relays K21 and K47 for my machine. Does anyone have a better source for the electrical schematics?

We had problems with our saftey switch last year. I finally disconnected it and it is the best thing that we did. Under our cebis printer is were the wiring comes out in our 590r and we put in a jumper wire between the two wires.

disconnect it we had the same problem!
just go without!

I disconnect it on every combine I own before it hits the field. I don't get out with it running and am still very cautious but it's nice to be able to stand and stretch without the header shutting off.
