Don't get them wet or they will slip, and yes the large drive wheel helps a lot. Doesn't completely eliminate slip, but are much better, has more surface contact.

For the guys who have the newer challenger track machines, do you experiance drive wheel slip inside the tracks? Or does the larger drive wheel remedy this? We have a 65c that has a good undercarriage and proper spring tension, yet at times/certin situations experiance some slip on turns. We washed the windshield off with a garden hose one day, and when we left the farm it went straight across the road at the end of the driveway. Aggh.
