On a 1660 I am replacing the roller bearings and center pin in the middle of the rocker arm that hangs the front of the chaffer sieve. The left side is easy to do because of the access door, but the right side has the elevators in the way and no access door. Any suggestions?

If its the one I think your talking about you take brg and channel iron out as one piece. Remove sieve hanger and eccentric arm from shaker arm then remove bolts to remove channel. Bring arm, channel out as one. Again if we're speaking of the same thing.

Thanks for your reply Grass. Yes we are talking about the same brg. Have done that on the left side ( removed the channel iron and shaker arm then pressed out the brg from the channel iron and pressed out the pin from the rocker arm) The problem is on the right side - the top bolt of the rocker arm can't be removed because of space and the elevators are in the way for using a hammer to drive out the center pin.

Problem solved - there is a plastic plug in the side wall that when removed the top bolt of the rocker arm will pass through
