I want to change the stationary blades on my 8010 chopper. Is it like the previous generation combines where you remove the base that the blades are attached to to change them? Is it a bigger job than on the old ones? Thanks.

pretty straight forward push the blades up, and lay on the sieves. There are three sections that come out, there are four bolts holding each section in. you can easily reach them from underneath while laying on the sieves, just did mine the other day, once you see the bolts you will understand.
