Greetings. My 9110 is due for some exhaust work. The worst pipe is the one that has the egr tube into it. Is there anything wrong with capping that off, and putting a straight piece of pipe in place of the $400 piece?
That tractor wouldn’t have a egr system. That tube creates a vacuum which goes to the air intake and sucks some of the dust out of the air before it gets to the filter. Not sure how much your filter life would suffer with that pipe capped off.
When my peice like that cracked up it pushed exhaust into the intake so bad it would choke the tractor , sealed it back up with muffler tape resin stuff it sucked air again, and good till today
