based on responses here, in my messages and on twitter, belts are not very popular. Literally the only person who recommended them was Don lol.

Anyway I ordered a few with chains but left one with belts so guess I’ll see.

My Lexion 760tt was pretty much the first belt feeder to go in the field in Australia back in 2018, so far the machine has 1600 working hours on it harvesting barley, chickpeas, faba beans, wheat, sorghum, corn and mungbeans yields up to 8t/ha in barley and sorghum and very ropey mungbeans and faba beans all fed into the Lexion by a MD FD140 on pretty much all flat country with only the odd stick to worry about. I’m an extremely happy owner of the belt feeder and pretty much had no issues in its life except I’ve replaced 3 bent slats from sticks and that’s about it, great product and my next Lexion will have the same belt feeder. Sorry to here people having issues with them, after the run I’ve had so far I’m shocked
