Has anyone been doing this with any luck? Going to try tommorow through indents and fanning mill. Just looking on net and seen grain cleaning systems machine ,has anyone used one of these? And if so how good do they work .

I'm trying to this with gravity table right now just to see. Seems to be working good, doing about 120 bu/hr, about 0.5% cleanout (by weight), wheat has about .8% fuz. Gonna take before and after samples to elevator tomorrow and see how much fuz cleaned out, should be interesting!

I have taken hrsw from 2.1 fus down to .52 also dropped vomi from 1.8 to .6 cleaned out about 3% was putting about 400/hour through. Bench air/screen and camas density separator.

My wheat dropped from 3% fuz to .8% just by riding in the sample pail from one elevator to a different elevator.

We have a grain cleaning systems cleaner. You would probably take too much out. I don't have fuz so I couldn't speak from first hand experience. They are a simple machine. Since they sort by weight it might work. It doesn't take ergot out of rye if that helps. It reduces % though.

Took fusarium down from:

1.3% fus(feed), 2% dkg.
To:
0.7% fus(#2), 0.3% dkg.

gravity table running at 120bu/hr .5% dkg.
Could definitely take out more, just did this as trial run.

It is truly amazing what a 2 stage cleaning system on the combine can do for blowing fusarium out the back!!! Saw it this year 4% vs.7%
