Has anyone had experience with putting centurion, or whatever grassy product you may use on canola with the sclerotinia fungicide? I have some volunteer cereals out there that I would like to make disappear. Just wondering if it would affect the flowers that are already open or not. My crop is still 5-6 days away from fungicide timing...

Just did 500 ac with centurion on liberty canola that was 15% in bloom. There are no restrictions on crop staging. You can also use quizalofop-p-ethyl(assure). Not sure if you can tank mix the fungicide in though, but should be able to.

Was considering doing the same with peas but was told flowers could be burnt. Not sure if it would be the same with canola but might be something to investigate.

Have mixed it with proline before at 50 percent bloom no problem. Went 60 Ac per case and did not see any damage to canola

I've hurt lentils with clethodim but never canola.
What stage were lentils when you hurt them?
Late, it was like mid July. Was a second application of 0.19L but the wildoats wasn't quite dead and I didn't want it to make seed by the time we dessicated.

Turned the lentils all yellow and they matured way sooner than every other field.

Yikes! I hit some of mine with .1L (30 ac rate/jug) on some large WO and Darnel that the Poast I sprayed back in June didn’t touch. It was last week just days before first flowers showed up. Lentils already looked pretty sick and yellow from the 4” in 2hr downpour they endured at end of June.

That’s a pretty high rate. We usually apply at .075L. It’ll discolour them a bit but no damage.
