I have a cat480 with 800/32s and would like better floatation and less chance of compaction in wet fields this year. My sprayer floater wheels are sat idol in the yard and the centre and bolt pattern match.
If I install the wheels as duals using a drum spacer and tie rods is it going to be too much leverage on the final drives or snap the wheel studs. The floaters are 650/65/38s . Are fields are flat but have a lot of drainage crossing at various like to hear your opinion as to whether it's going to cause more trouble in an already frustrating harvest. Thanks
