Blow them out first, and then power wash them. There is a 2 inch plug you can remove to allow the water to exit the compartment. Obviously, stay away from a "zero" tip.

Step 1: Blow opposite direction dirt entered.
Step 2: Now blow opposite of opposite direction.
Step 3: Start at step one, three more times.

Step 4: Soak with hose.
Step 5: Wait 30 minuites and soak with hose again.
Step 6: Use pressure nozzle or pressure washer turned WAY down.
Step 7: Go back to step 4 and proceed one more time.

Now use light, get on ladder, and look. Still see stuff? Start at one again.

Use a firetruck with a 1 1/2 hose at 250 psi. I do. Works well. Nice to be the chief.......
I wash all my equipment off with it..........

That is nice, but nothing close to our power washers PSI rating. Both get the job done, but again if you need to blow, wash, repeat I hope you are not washing out a radiator....

I do wash out the combine radiator. The high volume of water really gets the stuff out without alot of pressure. Actually I guess I'm only using about 150psi on the radiator, 250psi on the outside.

with the engine running at 1500 rpm or so and compressed air, having the engine running and the fan sucking air it helps blow tha air through the rad plus it keeps the dust out of your face!!
