Les and I have known each other close to forty years, we shared many a conversation about lots of things but Les's involvement in and many years heading the combine testing program at PAMI was our main common interest.
Les was a great source of info for me, although he was also one of the first people to give me that "I'd tell you but I'd have to shoot you" line when he was involved in the paid for research with several manufacturers.
We'd get together a couple of times a year and almost always at the Farm Progress show (FPS) Regina
In fact, if you run into to Les ask him about that bar event at FPS about 15 years ago, I know he will at least simile.
Les started with PAMI pretty well when PAMI started in 1974.
He was involved in every test here:
Self-Propelled Grain Combines
Les has retired after 40 years at PAMI!
I wish my friend the best!
Thank you Les.
